Rochester's Natcore Technology R&D creates first black silicon solar cell for electricity production. The reflectivity of Natcore’s absolute black silicon wafers has almost 100 absorption (zero reflectivity). Virtually 100 percent of the light reaching the cell is available for conversion to electricity.
