The Food Truck Rodeo at the Public Market

Mumford & Sons 1
The City of Rochester is known for doing some great things at the Public Market. This past summer they presented many excellent bands, for free, as part of their “Bands on the Bricks” program. They have the gorgeous Flower Days in spring, the Artists Row event and the special Holidays at the Market for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

no calf roping or bucking bulls just the largest collection of food trucks from all over Greater Rochester
This week, on Thursday, they have another cool offering, the Food Truck Rodeo. This was first done in June and now it’s been brought back again for the fall. The Food Truck Rodeo isn’t much of a rodeo, no calf roping or bucking bulls, just the largest collection of food trucks from all over Greater Rochester all together in one place. Some of the notable vendors are La Petit Poutine, Potatoes to Go , Cheese & Confused , The Sammich Guy, and many more. There will also be a beer garden to help lubricate the festivities.

For fun there will be local performers, buskers mostly, to create a little atmosphere along with The Public Market Band! If you want to make an evening of it be sure to bring chairs so you can cool your dogs while listening and munching.

If you haven’t enjoyed the Rochester Public Market yet this year the Food Truck Rodeo is a good late season opportunity. Free, open to all, good food, music, beer and entertainers.. pretty cool for a Thursday night.

Thursday, Oct.4, from 5PM to 9PM at the Rochester Public Market, 280nNorth Union Street.
