Founded in 1932 by Tony Agostinelli, Sr. and his wife Theresa, the business originally operated at the corner of Fleming Street and Lake Avenue in the village of Charlotte. In 1960, Tony Sr. purchased the block-long Lake Theater building on Lake Avenue, and the following year expanded the store's inventory to include televisions, furniture, and bedding alongside the original appliance offerings. Today, second- and third-generation Agostinelli family members continue to own and operate the business.

The store carries a broad selection of major appliances, furniture, and mattresses. Appliance categories include washers, dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, ranges, and microwaves. Furniture spans bedroom, living room, dining room, kitchen, home office, and outdoor categories. The mattress department rounds out the product lineup.

Brands on the floor range from everyday names like Whirlpool, Frigidaire, Amana, and Bosch to higher-end lines such as Sub-Zero, Wolf, Thermador, Bertazzoni, and Asko. Furniture brands include Ashley Furniture, Best Home Furnishings, and Lane Home Furnishings. Delivery service is available, and the store offers old-unit haul-away for a $10 fee per piece.
