Corrections & Accuracy
We work hard to get things right — and we tell you plainly when we don't.
Trustworthy local information is the whole point of what we do. We check what we publish against real sources, and when we fall short, we say so, out in the open.
Here's what we do when we make a mistake:
- We correct it promptly and add a dated note to the article itself, so the record stays clear. We don't quietly edit or erase our errors.
- If something was published that shouldn't have been, we take it down and leave a note explaining why.
- We keep a public corrections log, so anyone can see what we've fixed. We'd rather show our work than pretend we never miss.
See something wrong? Please tell us. You know this community better than we ever could on our own, and a quick note — a sentence or two and a link to the story — helps us keep the record straight for everyone.
Thank you for reading, and for helping us get it right.
