Operating for more than 25 years, the restaurant occupies a historic Flatiron Building that dates back to the 1850s. The interior retains original architectural details, including tin ceilings, wooden floors, and exposed brick walls, lending the space a rustic yet urban character. Head Chef Billy Burkle leads the kitchen, which focuses on contemporary American cuisine with Italian and Eastern European influences.

Edibles serves lunch and dinner Tuesday through Saturday, with a martini bar and lounge that extends into the evening. The menu spans a range of dishes that blend comfort food with more inventive preparations, including:
