Elvio's

Elvio's is a Portuguese-inspired café at 1350 Empire Blvd in the Penfield area of Rochester, NY. Co-owned by Elvio Fernandes — a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter in the Grammy-nominated rock band Daughtry — the shop blends coffee culture with live music and community gathering. Fernandes also founded ROC Star Academy, a Rochester-based music education program serving over 200 students, and that creative-community ethos carries over into the café's programming and atmosphere.

The drink menu centers on carefully prepared espresso and drip coffee, including a European-style blend and a house Elvio's Blend. Standard café drinks are available — cappuccinos, lattes, and cold brew — alongside smoothies and fresh juices. On the food side, the kitchen draws on Fernandes' Portuguese heritage with offerings that include sandwiches, flatbreads, bowls, and pastries.
