Flight Wine Bar

Flight Wine Bar occupies a storefront in Corn Hill Landing at 262 Exchange Blvd in Rochester, NY. Originally established in 2009, the wine bar changed hands in December 2022 when Susan Reuter, a lifelong Rochesterian and Cardinal Mooney High School graduate, purchased the business. Under Reuter's ownership, the space received cosmetic updates, a refreshed wine list, new staff, and an expanded events calendar. The bar serves as a gathering spot in the Corn Hill neighborhood, offering wines, beers, ciders, and small plates in an intimate setting geared toward adults.

Flight Wine Bar's menu centers on wines by the glass and customizable wine flights that allow guests to sample several selections side by side. The food program focuses on build-your-own cheese and charcuterie boards, with options ranging from a single selection to multi-item platters, alongside marinated vegetables and house-made desserts. Beer, cider, and kombucha round out the drink list, and the bar carries local New York State wines alongside broader selections. Weekly promotions include 50% off wine bottles on Wednesdays, 10% off the final bill on Mondays, and a 10% student discount with a valid college ID.

Flight Wine Bar has become a regular destination for live jazz, with performances scheduled on Friday evenings. The bar also hosts community-oriented programming including fundraisers, wine education classes covering New York State wines and food pairings, and private events. Its covered patio, open during warmer months, provides outdoor seating along the Genesee River corridor.

The wine bar sits inside Corn Hill Landing, a mixed-use development on Exchange Boulevard in Rochester's historic Corn Hill neighborhood, overlooking the Genesee River. Corn Hill is one of Rochester's oldest residential areas, known for its Victorian-era homes and the annual Corn Hill Arts Festival. Flight Wine Bar is open Monday through Thursday from 4 to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 4 to 10 p.m., and closed on Sundays.
