Frequency Wellness Space

Frequency Wellness Space is a shared wellness community hub located at 34 Elton St, Suite 103, in Rochester, NY's Neighborhood of the Arts. Operating out of a converted factory building in the Artwalk District, the space provides furnished rooms and gathering areas where independent wellness practitioners can offer classes, treatments, and one-on-one sessions. Rather than employing a single staff of providers, Frequency functions as a flexible co-working model — its members are the teachers, healers, and service providers who book space on their own schedules. The space is open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The schedule at Frequency spans a wide range of movement and healing modalities, including:

• Yoga — vinyasa, yin, gentle, power flow, candlelit yin with reiki, yoga nidra, and a neurodivergent-affirming yoga-and-sound class that incorporates sound-bath instruments
• Pilates — sculpt-style sessions focused on alignment and full-body control
• Bodywork & healing arts — massage, acupuncture (including monthly community acupuncture with guided meditation), reiki, and somatic healing
• Coaching & counseling — private consultation rooms for one-on-one health coaching, counseling, and related services
• Specialty classes — mama-and-baby yoga, 50-plus yoga flow, qigong-informed movement, and pay-what-you-can gentle yoga

The facility is divided into purpose-built areas: a Bodywork Sanctuary for hands-on treatments, a Consult Sanctuary for private sessions, and open gathering spaces for group classes and workshops.

Frequency Wellness Space is known for its collaborative, community-centered model that brings a rotating roster of independent practitioners under one roof. The variety of weekly offerings — from high-energy power vinyasa to slow, restorative candlelit sessions — reflects the diversity of its provider community. Several classes, including a weekly energy-reset session and community acupuncture nights, operate on a sliding-scale or pay-what-you-can basis, making the space accessible to a broader range of visitors.

The space occupies Suite 103 inside the converted factory building at 34–44 Elton Street, a multi-tenant creative hub that also houses artisan studios, a tea shop, and a dance school. The building sits in Rochester's Artwalk District, within walking distance of the George Eastman Museum and Village Gate Square. Street parking along Elton Street is free at all times, and a parking lot directly across the street provides additional spots. The surrounding Neighborhood of the Arts is a walkable mix of galleries, independent restaurants, and small businesses.
