Rochester Beer and Park

Rochester Beer and Park is an open-air, RV-themed bar and grill located at 375 Averill Ave in Rochester's Swillburg neighborhood, near the South Wedge. The 3,000-square-foot venue sits at the corner of Averill Avenue and South Clinton Avenue and combines indoor and outdoor space connected by four large garage doors that open the main bar area onto a patio with colorful seating. The space draws on vintage Americana and campground aesthetics, with décor that includes bowling trophies, party lights, and a full-size Winnebago that doubles as a performance stage backdrop.

The bar features more than 60 draft lines pouring a rotating selection of craft beer, cider, seltzers, and other options, with around 30 selections rotating at any given time. A full liquor bar, wine, prosecco, canned beverages, and zero-alcohol drinks round out the beverage program. Frozen slushie cocktails are served from a separate trailer bar on site. Food comes from an indoor food-truck-style kitchen with a concession-stand approach to campground and picnic fare, including:

The venue hosts live music on its Winnebago-backed stage, themed parties, and community events such as charity fundraisers. It is pet-friendly and bike-friendly, with lawn games available in the outdoor area.

Rochester Beer and Park is known for its high tap count and camp-themed atmosphere in a neighborhood that doesn't have many large outdoor drinking and dining spots. The combination of a 60-plus-tap draft system housed partly in a vintage mobile home cooler, an outdoor patio with lawn games, and a stage built around a Winnebago gives the venue a distinct identity among Rochester beer bars. The kitchen's focus on casual, cookout-style food — fried bologna, corn dogs, vegan sausage — fits the campground concept and sets it apart from typical bar menus.

The bar occupies a corner lot at Averill Avenue and South Clinton Avenue in Swillburg, a compact residential neighborhood just south of downtown Rochester. Customer parking is available across the bridge at the corner of Averill Avenue and Broadway, with additional street parking where posted. Swillburg sits adjacent to the South Wedge commercial corridor, and the venue is a short walk from shops and restaurants along South Avenue. The neighborhood is primarily residential with tree-lined streets, making Rochester Beer and Park one of the area's few dedicated gathering spots with significant outdoor space.
