Texas de Brazil is a Brazilian-American churrascaria located in the College Town development at 22 Celebration Drive in Rochester, NY. The restaurant opened in March 2016 as part of a chain founded in 1998 that blends Southern Brazilian churrasco traditions with Texan hospitality. The Rochester location occupies a 7,500-square-foot space with seating for 280 guests, featuring an open-view grill in the dining room, a wine wall, a bar and lounge area, and a private dining room.

The core experience is a continuous tableside meat service, where gaucho-style carvers bring skewers of flame-grilled beef, lamb, pork, chicken, and Brazilian sausage directly to each table. Diners use a two-sided card — green to invite more servings, red to pause — to control the pace of the meal. Alongside the meat service, a 50-item salad area includes imported cheeses, charcuterie, and seasonal gourmet dishes. Lamb chops are available as an à la carte add-on. For guests who prefer a meat-free meal, the salad area can be ordered on its own, and the restaurant accommodates vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and dairy-free diets.

The bar serves beer, wine, and handcrafted cocktails, with a weekday happy hour from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. featuring domestic beer, caipirinhas, and house cocktails at reduced prices. Private dining is available for groups of up to 30, with A/V rental and full-room buyout options. Catering and to-go service are also offered.

Texas de Brazil is known for its rodízio-style dining format — an all-you-can-eat structure rooted in the cattle-ranching gaucho tradition of Southern Brazil. The open-view grill allows guests to watch the preparation process, and the green-and-red card system gives diners direct control over their meal. The Rochester location was the chain's 44th restaurant when it opened, bringing a dining format uncommon in the Finger Lakes region to the city's growing College Town corridor.

The restaurant sits within College Town, a mixed-use development on Celebration Drive at the gateway to the University of Rochester campus and adjacent to the UR Medical Center. College Town opened in 2015 and includes retail tenants such as Barnes & Noble and CVS, along with apartments and office space. Complimentary parking is available on-site in the development's garage, making the restaurant accessible for both university-area visitors and diners coming from elsewhere in the Rochester metro. The restaurant is open for dinner nightly, with extended weekend hours starting at 3:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
