The Market Grill

The Market Grill is a casual American restaurant located inside the I-Square complex at 400 Bakers Park in the Irondequoit neighborhood of Rochester, NY. The restaurant has been part of I-Square since the mixed-use development opened in 2011, a project created by Irondequoit natives Mike and Wendy Nolan as a community gathering place. The Market Grill operates alongside several other family-owned dining concepts within the complex, including a sushi bar, a Chinese restaurant, a coffee shop, and an on-site craft brewery.

The menu centers on charbroiled, hand-pressed certified Angus beef burgers served on toasted rolls from Martusciello's Bakery, a local Rochester bread supplier. Specific options include:

• The Market Burger — a 7 oz. Angus patty with lettuce, tomato, and onion on a Martusciello's roll
• The Bistro Burger — topped with a fried egg, Applewood smoked bacon, arugula, and dijon mayo
• The Pub Burger — finished with caramelized onions and blue cheese
• Cooper's Quarter Pound Burger — a 4 oz. patty with a fried egg on a DiPaolo roll

Beyond burgers, the kitchen prepares sandwiches, house-made soups, wraps, and rotating daily specials. Dine-in, take-out, and online ordering through ToastTab are all available. The restaurant also has access to I-Square's private event and meeting spaces, which can accommodate up to 150 guests for receptions.

The Market Grill has built its identity around locally sourced ingredients and straightforward, made-to-order cooking. The complex includes rooftop gardens, an outdoor amphitheater, The Imaginarium art gallery and science center, and the Irondequoit Beer Co. brewery housed in a restored barn. House of Guitars, the long-running Rochester music shop, is located across the parking lot. The Market Grill is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
