About a thousand dachshunds descend on Washington Square Park every spring — and May 9 is the day. The Rochester Dachshund Parade is exactly what it sounds like, and it is exactly as good as it sounds. It falls right on Lilac Festival weekend, making it an easy add to an already great day out in the city.
