Blacksmithing at Cumming Nature Center — Make Something Real at This Finger Lakes Forge

The Cumming Nature Center — the Rochester Museum and Science Center's 900-acre Finger Lakes preserve — is hosting hands-on blacksmithing workshops led by expert instructor Jonathan Bernard. With a maximum of four students per session, participants go home with something they made themselves: wall hooks, bottle openers, letter openers, keychains, and at the advanced level, a knife. It's the kind of making you cannot do at a screen.
