Genesee County Fair 2026 — A 30-Minute Drive to 187 Years of Summer Tradition, July 18–25

Summer belongs to the fairgrounds. The Genesee County Fair has been drawing families to Batavia for 187 years, and this year brings the full roster: midway rides open through the weekend, grandstand events, a demolition derby, livestock shows, and that particular outdoor July energy no venue can replicate. It is a 30-minute drive from Rochester — and an entire world away from the city.

Date: Saturday, July 18 through Saturday, July 25, 2026 Time: Midway (unlimited rides) open Tuesday–Saturday, July 21–25; Tue 4–10 PM, Wed–Sat 12–5 PM and 6–10 PM Location: Genesee County Fairgrounds, 5056 East Main Street, Batavia, NY (approximately 30 minutes from Rochester) Cost: $15 parking per carload; unlimited ride wristbands $35 ($30 youth special available Wed, Fri, and Sat 1–3 PM)
