What's Happening

On Indigenous Peoples Day, the Rochester Museum and Science Center is filling its halls with the ingenuity of Indigenous peoples across the Americas. This year's programming covers suspension bridge engineering from the Inka and Quechua, the unbreakable Navajo codes that shaped World War II, and Native Youth Olympic sports from Alaska — all hands-on, all free with your regular admission. It's a meaningful way to spend a school holiday with family while learning something that doesn't usually make it into a textbook.
