Every December, Genesee Brewery stacks its kegs into a towering holiday tree and lights it up for the season — and this year, the Keg Tree Lighting is on December 4. It's one of Rochester's most uniquely local holiday traditions: a 180-year-old brewery on the Genesee River, a crowd of neighbors, and a Christmas tree that could only exist here. Come for the lighting, stay for the community warmth (and maybe a Genesee).
