Nitrate Picture Show 2026 at the George Eastman Museum

The Nitrate Picture Show is one of the rarest film events in the world — four days of vintage nitrate prints projected from international archives at the George Eastman Museum, the institution that helped make that history. Conservationists from around the world come for the lectures, vault tours, and the singular experience of seeing film the way it was originally meant to be seen. The 2026 edition is already sold out, but worth knowing about — and worth putting on next year's radar.
