What's Happening
LeRoy — about 30 minutes southwest of Rochester — puts on one of the Genesee Valley's most genuine summer festivals each July along the banks of Oatka Creek. The 2026 Oatka Festival runs Saturday and Sunday with a full program: a gala musical parade at 11am Saturday, plus food vendors, arts and crafts, and live entertainment. Sunday adds a Car Show and the always-entertaining Duck Derby. This is the kind of festival that still feels like it belongs to the town, not to a promoter.
