Rochester Contemporary Art Center opens its most ambitious fall exhibition Friday night: Sanctuary — Borders & Belonging in 2026, a multi-gallery show examining what it means to seek and find belonging in this moment. The opening reception brings together artists from the community whose work asks hard, honest questions about immigration, identity, and home — and invites you to stand in the room with those questions.
