What's Happening

The Panamanian golden frog is one of the most endangered animals on Earth — extinct in the wild, surviving only in human care. Every August, Seneca Park Zoo marks Panamanian Golden Frog Day with a full day of conservation programming: cultural dancers, hands-on learning stations, naturalist talks, and keeper chats that bring the science and culture of this remarkable amphibian to life. It's the kind of day where you leave knowing an animal's name, its story, and why it matters — and that's a gift worth giving to a curious kid or your own sense of wonder.
