Storytime Under the Stars at the Planetarium — November 14 with Author Scott Gibala-Broxholm

What if you could hear a bedtime story while the actual night sky stretched across the ceiling above you? This November, the Strasenburgh Planetarium is doing exactly that. Author Scott Gibala-Broxholm brings his children's book Are You Out There? to life inside the dome — the story playing out among the stars overhead — followed by a book signing where kids can meet the author. It's the kind of morning that makes Rochester feel like a place that gets childhood exactly right.

Date: Saturday, November 14, 2026 Time: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM Location: Strasenburgh Planetarium, RMSC, 657 East Avenue, Rochester, NY 14607 Cost: Tickets required

Get tickets at rmsc.org or through the RMSC's event page. Space inside the planetarium is limited — a great excuse to plan the morning early.
