What's Happening
The Finger Lakes' most joyfully absurd event — the Watkins Glen Cardboard Boat Regatta — returns June 20-21. Teams build boats out of cardboard and race them on Seneca Lake while a crowd watches from the shore. It's free, it's funny, and it's an hour and fifteen minutes south of Rochester.

How to Join
No registration needed to watch. Pair it with Watkins Glen State Park's gorge trail for a full day trip — arrive early to beat the parking crowds at the park.
